WillIAM WARD OBE
William Ward is an innovative entrepreneur who has played a pivotal role in growing Clipper Ventures from a start-up venture to an adventure sailing ecosystem which includes the world’s largest event of its kind, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
In 2018, William was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to the economy and to the GREAT Britain campaign.
William took a step back from the day-to-day running of Clipper Ventures at the end of 2022 but remains an active member of the management board.
